Fettuccine Alfredo recipe- creamy pasta

 



Ingredients:

  • Fettuccine pasta: 250 gm
  • Chicken: (julienne) 300 gm
  • Oil: 
  • Garlic: (crushed) 1 tsp
  • Black pepper: (grounded) 1/2 tsp
  • Salt: 1/2 tsp or to taste

For Alfredo sauce:

  • Butter: 3 Tbsp
  • Cream: 170 gm (1 and 1/4 cup)
  • Milk: 3/4 cup
  • Mushrooms: 1/4 cup
  • Cheddar cheese: 2 Tbsp
  • Black pepper: 1 Tsp
  • Salt: a teaspoon
  • Garlic powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Parsley (dried): 1 tsp
  • Parmesan cheese: 1/4 cup
  • Bell peppers (optional): (julienne) 1 cup 

Directions:


     "Boil the pasta"

  • With 1 tsp of salt and 1 tbsp of oil, boil the fettuccine pasta as per packet instructions.

     "Prepare the chicken"

  • Saute crushed garlic in oil, then add chicken. 
  • Season with salt and pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes. Set it aside.

    "Cook the Alfredo sauce"

  • Melt the butter, add cream and whisk well.
  • Add milk, mushrooms, also cheddar. Mix nicely.
  • Season with black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and parsley. 
  • Sprinkle parmesan cheese and mix again. Add bell peppers if you wish.
  • Sauce's ready!

The Assembling:

  • Arrange boiled pasta in a round shape on the plate. Pour on the Alfredo sauce and top with fried chicken. Here's your Fettuccine Alfredo pasta ready to go!
