Fettuccine Alfredo recipe- creamy pasta
Ingredients:
- Fettuccine pasta: 250 gm
- Chicken: (julienne) 300 gm
- Oil:
- Garlic: (crushed) 1 tsp
- Black pepper: (grounded) 1/2 tsp
- Salt: 1/2 tsp or to taste
For Alfredo sauce:
- Butter: 3 Tbsp
- Cream: 170 gm (1 and 1/4 cup)
- Milk: 3/4 cup
- Mushrooms: 1/4 cup
- Cheddar cheese: 2 Tbsp
- Black pepper: 1 Tsp
- Salt: a teaspoon
- Garlic powder: 1/2 tsp
- Parsley (dried): 1 tsp
- Parmesan cheese: 1/4 cup
- Bell peppers (optional): (julienne) 1 cup
Directions:
"Boil the pasta"
- With 1 tsp of salt and 1 tbsp of oil, boil the fettuccine pasta as per packet instructions.
"Prepare the chicken"
- Saute crushed garlic in oil, then add chicken.
- Season with salt and pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes. Set it aside.
"Cook the Alfredo sauce"
- Melt the butter, add cream and whisk well.
- Add milk, mushrooms, also cheddar. Mix nicely.
- Season with black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and parsley.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese and mix again. Add bell peppers if you wish.
- Sauce's ready!
The Assembling:
- Arrange boiled pasta in a round shape on the plate. Pour on the Alfredo sauce and top with fried chicken. Here's your Fettuccine Alfredo pasta ready to go!
