How to make panacotta-Strawberry panacotta recipe-Easy strawberry panacotta
Panna cotta is a smart choice when it comes to both summers and quick guest servings. They vary with the fruit choice( peach, strawberry, grapes, mangoes) but promises an extraordinary velvety trip to your tongue. So here's to panna cotta!
Ingredients:
For white sauce
Gelatin- 1/2 tbsp (3g)
Cold water-2 tbsp (30g)
Whipping cream-200ml (7 0z)
Milk- 200ml (7oz)
Sugar-1/4 cup (50g)
Vanilla extract-1 tsp
For strawberry sauce
Strawberries-1 pound (450g)
Sugar-1/3 cup (70g)
Water-2 tbsp (30 g)
Method:
Preparing the white sauce:
- Dissolve 1/2 tbsp gelatin in 2 tbsp cold water. Let it rise for about 5-10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, take a pot/pan, add in whipping cream, sugar, and milk. Bring all ingredients to a simmer until sugar dissolves. Don't overheat or boil.
- Remove the pan from heat and add vanilla to it. Whisk well and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Now put in the swelled gelatin to it and whisk again.
- Arrange the glasses in a tray at a tilt. Pour your white sauce into these glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or better overnight to set.
Preparing the strawberry sauce:
- Roughly chop the strawberries into small pieces. Put strawberry chunks, sugar, and water altogether in a pan. Let it simmer once and uncouple the pan from heat.
- Blend this concoction to a fine and smooth puree then, strain it well to further smoothen out.
- Let it cool completely at room temperature before serving.
Assembling time:
- Bring the white sauce panna cotta glasses out of the refrigerator. Place them in a straight position and pour the strawberry puree to the glass's content.
- Serve!
